In this episode, building a double dresser, Norm used the following tools:
Items in bold represent the first appearance of that particular tool.
Norm seemed to describe in a little more depth a technique he has used frequently to center a groove in frame stock.
In the background behind the right Biesemeyer T-Square miter saw extension, can be seen what appears to be a Forrest dado set case. I don’t recall ever hearing the Forrest name in connection with TNYW.
Norm used a plain board (actually, probably Baltic birch) clamped to the Unifence as a sacrificial fence.
The safety speech included closeup video of a ripping operation on the contractors saw with a push stick.
Field trip was to a private collector's residence, St. Helena, California.
Thanks to my friend Adam Stone who clued me in on the Forrest Dado Set.
