Claw hammers are more of a carpenter's tool than one found in a finer woodorker's shop, although since Norm's roots are in construction it's not surprising to see them occasionally.
Norm has used wooden handled (top), fiberglass shafted (center), and steel shafted hammers (bottom) at one time or another. I don't know the brands or models he uses although one reader says one of them is an Estwing. There's no way to tell otherwise, and certainly not worth the trouble of trying to find out.
