In this episode, building jigs (part one of a two part project), Norm built the following jigs:
and used the following tools:
Items in bold represent the first appearance of that particular tool.
Interesting—Norm used the old panel jig to make the new, and used the new panel jig to make the new panel raising jig.
The Biesemeyer fence and the JetLock fence were in view and used to illustrate various box sizes for the panel raising jig, but weren't actually demonstrated in this episode.
Now this is really interesting—back in Episode 705 Norm demonstrated a digital readout accessory for the Biesemeyer. It was the only time it was ever seen. It was attached to the Bies as Norm showed it.
Something else—the JetLock was replaced by the Biesemeyer ten years earlier (beginning of Season Three), and the Unifence, in turn, replaced the Bies around 1994 (temporarily, as it turned out). Why is that JetLock still there?
The safety speech included video of an operation on the router table (finger slip).
