In this episode, building a garden shed and recycling center (part one of a two part project), Norm used the following tools:
Items in bold represent the first appearance of that particular tool.
Hmmm, both circular saws appeared in the same episode. I don't remember that happening elsewhere, but I'll look.
I’m not completely sure on the ½" drill—it was a fleeting glance, mostly of the chuck—but Norm used it on other episodes, and he was turning a big honking bit on this one, so it’s not hard to believe it wasn’t one of the smaller shop drills.
In the prep work for the foundation, Norm used a wheelbarrow, shovel, rake, tamp, and maul—all ordinary as well as anonymous garden or landscape type tools not really worthy of note, nor within the intended scope of this website’s purpose.
Hugh, the “neighbor,” made an appearance. He's really the grip/gaffer who appears on camera occasionally when an extra hand is needed, such as raising a wall.
The safety speech included video of a crosscut operation on the radial arm saw.
