The traditional try square is almost the quintessential galoot tool, and Norm has used one on many occasions. There are some on the market that are so beautifully made they almost shouldn't be used in a shop. Others, while nice looking, are more pedestrian. Some are just plain jane, utility squares. The combination square seems to have replaced it in most shops.
