Appearances: Episode 1810
I'm getting an impression, based on the few episodes previous to the one in which this first appeared, that Porter-Cable is pressing Norm and TNYW to feature more of their tools. Although Norm has used a clipped head framing nailer (both Bostich and Senco) in other projects and almost certainly still has them available, this new P-C made an appearance along with the RN175 coil nailer in the Garden Shed (Episode 1810) project.
While this episode was filmed in September, 2005, it took more than six months before this nailer was available at Amazon. That may go hand in hand with my observation in the preceding paragraph.
