Vise-Grip™

This is another tool which I feel I may have overlooked in early seasons. I just don't remember seeing them. The Bessey Super-Grip clamp is sort of Vise-Grip-like in operation, but I have that pretty thoroughly documented, I think. And the clamp used with the Kreg jigs is very V-G-like, too—almost as if they are licensed.

Anyway, Vise-Grips are as synonymous with locking pliers as Crescent is with adjustable wrenches. This picture is about as average looking a pair as I can imagine.
