My best guess so far |
I don't know what to make of this. I can't even think of a good name for it. The blade is shaped much like our common keyhole saw, but it seemed to have finer teeth, and the handle was clearly different from the traditional type. It seemed to be cutting on the forward stroke (rather than the pull stroke like the dozuki and other Japanese saws), and is shaped like a jab or drywall saw, but as with the keyhole saw, the teeth were far too fine for a jab saw.
