Porter-Cable has had a couple of professional door installation jigs out for several years and we've seen them being used on This Old House projects for some time. Interest now seems to be trickling down to the individual DIYer doing a large remodel and the trickle apparently has leaked into the New Yankee Workshop.
This model is for installing full mortise locksets typically found on older houses. I remember seeing it on TOH at least as far back as the San Francisco Church project.
You'll have to have plenty of locksets to install, as this puppy has quite a heft in the price tag department—around one large.
