The dovetail jig market has exploded in the mid to late '00s. Several newcomers have mounted significant challenges to market leaders Leigh and Porter-Cable (OmniJig). The new offerings are mostly half blind jigs aimed at the lower end of the market. This is Porter-Cable's version.
4210? 4212? I can't tell until/unless I see the supplementary templates available for the 4212. Given P-C's underwriting, I'd have to suspect 4212, however.
I know that the Leigh will show up again later in the 2008 season, but I wonder if the OmniJig (or the new OmniJig seen once in Season 19) will reappear.
