This is the big lathe that Norm sometimes used. I'm not sure why he had the two (the 46-700 is the other). The duplicator (shown attached) fits on the -700, as does the steady rest (also shown attached).
Delta no longer makes this one, and I filched the picture from The New Yankee Workshop website. I wish the DL-40 logo showed up as it does in a couple of the episodes it's used in.
I'm glad I got the picture when I did as the DL-40 has been replaced by Delta's new 46-745, which was seen in a This Old House episode before it was introduced to The New Yankee Workshop.
