Makita 2114C Bandsaw


This is it!

Thanks to my friends Rick Frye who provided my first picture ever of this saw, Roger Lance for providing the model number that finally got the identification ball rolling, and Joe Salvo who provided this great picture.

 

This tool had been the biggest mystery to me. The folks at The New Yankee Workshop webpage weren't much help—answering a question about it by identifying it as their trusty Makita. I didn't even remember a bandsaw in the Makita line.

After a number of inquiries around the internet, however, I finally got a model number, and from there determined that Makita did, in fact, make a bandsaw. And thanks to details given me by internet responders, I know that this is the tool in question and now I have this picture.
