This gadget, shown by itself in the picture at left, is designed to align pieces square to each other while clamping, as shown in the lower picture. In Norm's first appearance, he used it as a drilling jig to keep his work square to the table and parallel to the bit. In Episode 1711, the name of the manufacturer was clearly seen. Well, clearly, but not quite readable. Maybe in HDTV...It looked like Lyon Tool Company, but a search on that name had zero results.
