Norm sort of sneaked this model 40-680 scroll saw in on me. I thought he had just gotten out his old Q3 saw, which he has only used a few times anyway. I should have known with all the other upgrades in Delta equipment that this would have been one, too.
Scroll sawing is generally a sort of subset of woodworking that is usually separate from cabinet and furniture making, so the need for one doesn't often crop up. However, for delicate fretwork, it's just the thing.
